Fertility Treatment • Mysuru
Where advanced embryology meets a deeply personal plan for parenthood.
Advanced laboratory fertilisation, blastocyst culture, and personalised embryo transfer tailored to your reproductive biology.

What is it?
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a fertility treatment in which eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory. The resulting embryo is cultured for a few days before being transferred into the uterus.
Who may benefit?
- •Couples or individuals who have not conceived after other treatments
- •Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
- •Reduced ovarian reserve or age-related fertility decline
- •Male-factor infertility
- •Unexplained infertility
- •Genetic conditions where embryo testing may be relevant
When is it considered?
Your fertility specialist may discuss IVF after a full evaluation of both partners, taking into account the cause of infertility, duration of trying, age, and results of earlier treatments such as IUI.
How It Works
The treatment journey.
Consultation
An initial discussion to understand your history, concerns and goals.
Fertility Assessment
Blood tests, ultrasound scans and semen analysis to understand fertility factors.
Treatment Planning
A personalised protocol is discussed based on your assessment.
Ovarian Stimulation
Medication is used to encourage the ovaries to develop multiple eggs, monitored by scans and blood tests.
Egg Retrieval
A minor procedure, done under sedation, to collect eggs from the ovaries.
Fertilisation / ICSI
Eggs are fertilised with sperm in the laboratory, using ICSI where indicated.
Embryo Development
Fertilised eggs are cultured in the laboratory for several days.
Embryo Transfer
A selected embryo is placed into the uterus in a brief outpatient procedure.
Pregnancy Test
A blood test roughly two weeks after transfer confirms whether implantation has occurred.
Early Pregnancy Follow-up
Continued monitoring in the first weeks if the test is positive.
Preparation
You will typically be asked to complete baseline investigations, adjust certain medications or supplements, and attend monitoring visits during the stimulation phase.
During Treatment
Each stage — stimulation, retrieval, fertilisation and transfer — is explained as it happens, with the team available to answer questions along the way.
Afterwards
You'll be advised on activity, medication and what symptoms to expect, along with a clear timeline for the pregnancy test and next follow-up.
Possible risks & limitations
As with any fertility treatment, IVF carries possible risks and limitations, including the chance that a cycle may not result in pregnancy, and less commonly, ovarian hyperstimulation or multiple pregnancy. Your doctor will discuss risks specific to your situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
A single cycle, from the start of stimulation to the pregnancy test, typically spans four to six weeks, though this varies by protocol.
